John originally designed the frame and cycle gear for the BSA John McLaren as an off-road petrol driven moto-cross competition bike.

The BSA TAG 350 continues to use much of John’s original design with some clever engineering by RIPE Motorcycles and their associates. The electrics have been developed by Weald-EVT (The UK speed record holders for electric motorcycles). The TAG 350’s quick-change battery cassette allows for hours of use and the five year no-quibble guarantee promises years of trouble free motorcycling.

The BSA TAG has three standard variants:

The John McLaren TAG 350 with its traditional BSA tank badge and rugged components intended for motocross action, is the ideal beginner bike that won’t let you down.

We are the only manufacturer to offer a FIVE year warranty on our chassis

Motor is rated for 350W continuous running.

Seat height is 560mm

Performance is on a par with restricted 50cc bikes e.g. Yamaha PW50

We take these bikes to events and hire them out
